Support to the Roma Community from the Roma Community
The Organisation
Union Romani Voice team have work experience with Roma community more than 15 years.
For example: Simona Lazar, she was born in traditional Roma family, and she has relevant work experience with ethnic minorities groups asylum seeker in different departments: local authorities, schools, charities, around Europe: Romania, Spain, Italy, and UK.
She holds a BA Social Work and a master’s degree in a Writing Project on the Development of community, which was an academic course at European Commission of Europa for Inclusion and Strategies in Strasburg, France. She moved in UK in 2014 in Ipswich-Suffolk and has been volunteering and with IRIS- Suffolk Country Council as second chair for 2 years (helped to improve the quality life of Roma people in Ipswich).
Union Romani Voice also have trustee from local church leaders which positive reputation in Roma community. Roma community trust Union Romani Voice’ trustees because we built up the good reputation in the community before Union Romani Voice to be set up and during the lockdown.
