Our Mission

To build a more inclusive and equitable society

where Roma people are valued, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential.

What We Do

Our Impact

We offer free, confidential, and culturally sensitive services, including:

  • Daily drop-in support and one-to-one advice
  • Help with immigration, housing, benefits, employment, education, and health
  • ESOL classes and youth engagement programmes
  • Support for victims of crime, hate incidents, and modern slavery
  • Community events celebrating Roma culture and heritage
  • Advocacy with policymakers to shape fairer housing and healthcare services
  • Human rights work focused on justice, safety, and equal opportunity

Since 2021, we’ve supported over 4,500 Roma people through practical services and community-led projects that:

  • Improve wellbeing, education, and employability
  • Reduce isolation and build stronger community connections
  • Help individuals secure legal status and better access public services
  • Promote safety, especially among young people

Our Purpose

Union Romani Voice is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO No. 1193506) with a vision grounded in equality, empowerment, and cultural pride. Our work focuses on:

Promoting Equality & Diversity
We raise public awareness of Roma heritage and challenge discrimination through arts, culture, and education—helping to build more inclusive public services and stronger community relations.
Supporting Those in Need
We assist Roma people facing disadvantage—whether due to age, health, disability, youth, or financial
hardship—by improving access to essential services and tailoring programmes to meet community needs.
Advocating for Human Rights
We promote dignity, justice, and equal treatment, ensuring Roma voices influence decisions that affect housing, health, and wellbeing.
Preserving Roma Culture
Our Roma Heritage Centre and Exhibition Gallery celebrates Roma arts and traditions while educating others and inspiring new generations.
